Alexis Alicette Bolter holds a BA from Boston University in Art History and an MFA from California College of the Arts. Bolter has exhibited her work at the Laband Gallery in Los Angeles, Southern Exposure in San Francisco, BAMPFA in Berkeley and various project spaces in and around the Los Angeles and Bay Area.  In addition to her art practice, Bolter actively curates shows that address political and social issues.  Bolter is a founding member of AVA, an intersectional feminist collective of LA based artists as well as a member of the Association of Hysteric Curators.  Bolter lives and works in Los Angeles.
